I have been busy lately doing stuff once again for the 4th time unfortunately. Reality can sometimes get me. So, sorry for the inconvenience. I might probably post really late though.
Whoa, what is this? Combat butler protecting his master because of a personal debt? That sounds like Hayate no Gotoku! This series is just very interesting. First, the comedy element is sweet. For the characters, they are nicely active and the action is quite decent. I don't really have any complaints here. But, the story is not much. So overall, this series looks good so far.
The finale is so weird. I can't even say a word for it when I started watching. Did the series finally make sense? I do not even have a clue to react whatsoever. So, we get to see Shu's past and how he became the oblivious peaceful boy. But, unfortunately; the ending became sad? Like I said again, it is just plain weird. In fact, my jaw dropped. Other than that, I have not much to say.
Yes! I had been waiting for the third season for years and it finally came out. But, we get the usual comedy, echii, action and other random things like usual which is basically the entire series. Though, I'm not saying that's a disappointment. So, Saito continue his adventures with the group once again. I am pretty much just excited and there is really nothing much with the "first" episode like the previous seasons. Anyway, the graphics got nicely updated along with the characters. I do like how the creators managed to put action on the introduction filler episode. That's just pretty neat. There is just not much on what's going on the new enemy is not exactly revealed. But, we do get some more secrets revealed. If you watched the previous seasons and liked it, you probably will like this too.
Conclusion: Nice filler episode and it's not a disappointment.
So, do you like RPG-like games with only one button? (Yes, that's right; just "one button".) Well, a new studio called Mint Sphere did an attempt and created Trigger Knight which is a fantasy experimental anime flash game. The game of takes place in a random fantasy world which you would usually see. But, you get to play the awesome knight named Trigger Knight. The different thing about her, is that she's not your usual knight you see in a usual RPG. (Yes, I keep mentioning "usual") Trigger Knight has special stuff you get to use. But, she unfortunately has a life span.
Besides the "life span" and buying a certain item for it all the time, the graphics are not bad. The music is great and also the action. You can not really expect a nice decent job on a anime flash game like this. But, For some strange reason, it may get quite addicting.
Overall, you basically get to experiment how many days you get to last with luck and strategy. Another nice thing is that when you lose a run, your run will still be recorded under Achievements. Other than that, there's really nothing much besides the heroine being cute - don't you agree?
Conclusion: Interesting fantasy anime flash game and you should probably try it out too.
Ugghh... Already fan service in the beginning? Anyway, this show is pretty echii generic. I might even somehow drop this. The protagonist and his buddies seem to be hard core perverts from the start. That's kinda strange. It's just like the show is entirely focused on echii-ness and action from the very beginning or perhaps it is. So basically I pretty much got a first bad impression of this series even though I am an echii fan myself. I also find the action kinda disappointing. If the coming second episode can make up the first, I'll probably follow it to the end. Other than that, there's really nothing to say besides it's just a "disappointment".
Conclusion: One of the lamest first episodes I ever saw for this Winter season.
Okay, I haven't seen the previous seasons of this series yet but the settings look cool. Even though I didn't get it at first, the creators were kind enough to briefly explain on what's going on which is very helpful to new comers like me. Anyway, the series is basically about a boy who has this book called "The Book of Friends". The Book of Friends so happen to have the names of the defeated demons and the user of this book can control them. But, the boy does not want to do that and wants to free them from control. So that's basically his entire adventures. Then of course, there are many conflicts and some humans or demons want their hands on it.
The characters seem to be pretty average like any anime. I don't really see some sort of "hyper" thing on them. Perhaps because it's just the beginning. But, they are interesting. The action is not bad but it does not happen that much. So the series does not focus on action that much but instead; just mainly the story I'm guessing. The first episode of the 4th season of this series kinda got me hooked. I'll of course follow this series and watch the previous seasons when I get the time.
Conclusion: I like the settings so far and will look forward to the next.
Wow!... This is a sweet taste for the first episode for this Winter season. Mecha? Comedy? Some Echii? Our lead girls piloting robots? Awesome! Well, that basically this series. Well, imagine something similar to Full Metal Panic (must watch if you haven't seen it yet). First off, the characters are full of energy and there's a big positive aura around them. I actually did not get quite bored and this did not start generic like you usually see in a mecha anime. Even though it's all talk because it's just the introduction, the creators were able to add the action in for perfecting timing while also adding comedy. This is what you don't usually see everyday. Goofing off while doing action without messing up? That is just unique and something new which only a few anime are able to do a stunt like that. Besides the unique things I mentioned; the series looks like it will have a lot of potential for the next episodes. I will just have to hope that they keep this up. And once again, this is a good first taste for this Winter season.
