OMG! I loved this episode and it was just plain awesome! Even though it's just another random episode, we get to see our group get inside a "dating sim game". I wasn't even expecting that at all! Also, there are some scenes that reminds me in The World Only God Knows. Anyway, Mahiro has to pick one of the candidates and have love with her but there are things that get out of hand.
The very disappointing thing that bugged me is that Kuko somewhat ruins the entire episode and refuses to like Mahiro even though the game made her role to be. It would have been nice if the creators showed "what if Kuko likes our Mahiro". But I guess there's a big chance that wouldn't happen because she's a lesbian. Besides that, it was just pretty funny how the characters got their roles in the game. Now what's the next event will the creators think up? Overall, awesome dating sim episode.
Sweet, another serious episode! But this episode focuses on the big plot where Niiya and Yuuko forget each other for the entire time. Meanwhile, surprisingly, Shadow Yuuko does not interfere much during the plot but she does show herself. Besides that, we just get more romantic focus and some character development. So once again, the series so far is in a great pace and I liked how more and more serious plots are showing up with actual horror. Anyway, other than that, this is just another build up and I don't have any much thoughts (again). Though, it seems like Shadow Yuuko will play a big role on the next episode. Overall, cool build up and sweet plot.
Okay, I'm so glad that I didn't read the manga this far around this point for once. Or is the anime still connected with the manga? Ah, whatever... Anyway, the plot was very interesting. We get to see a new moe character introduced which is pretty neat. If this was a harem anime, I would be laughing but this is somewhat similar to Mega Man or perhaps Shakugan no Shana maybe? Also, the episode showed some fan service and echii goodness. Though it's quite amazing that this series is still focusing on a serious war and it's not all the time, goofy. Overall, awesome action and fan service.
So on this episode, we get to somewhat learn more about our antagonist, Truth. But surprisingly, the episode never revealed if he whether good or bad. I guess it the creators wanted this big plot wide open for the next episodes. Besides that, Ao does not get a big role and we're just mostly focusing on Truth himself and he just kills the guards or soldiers basically. There's really not much of story going on until the near end. Though, there will be a big plot on the next episode. Other than that, I don't have much thoughts or opinions to say because it's just building up for the major plot. Overall, nice action build up.
So there's an interesting anime flash game called Trigger Princess which is sequel for the Trigger Knight. The game will be a fantasy RPG experimental game which will be probably similar to the original. So currently, it's being developed by a small game studio called Mintsphere. Though unfortunately, they officially announced that they do not know the estimated release date but they do hope that they will release it sometime this year.
Other than that, unlike Trigger Knight, one of the developers (who goes by the name of FanFan) stated that the player will be playing as the heroine (Trigger Princess) and summon heroes to do her bidding since she can't really fight.
Here is a statement that FanFan said:
The Princess alone is helpless and cannot fight directly, but she can summon up to 6 “Ephemeral Heroes” to fight on her side. These “Ephemeral Heroes” act as her Sword and Shield, and there are several class to choose from, all with their own pros and cons. Summoning the right Ephemeral Heroes at the right stage while still managing your Resources (the same as Trigger Knight) will be the half-key to survive in this game.
While upgrading and choosing the Ephemeral Heroes already add depth to the gameplay, we will add more depth via Equipment selection. We wont tell how the equipment will change the tides of battle now, but it’s the another half-key of the gameplay. How so? Stay Tuned!
In any way, this game looks pretty quite promising and I'll be definitely looking forward to it. Putting that aside, if you didn't play the original game yet, you should try it!
Whoa... This episode proves something that Nyaruko can act not goofy if she wanted to which is nice. Anyway, it was just a shocker and I don't think you will see something like that as much in most echii anime. So for once, the creators actually focused on "pure romance" instead of just "goofy things" that we saw in the previous episodes. My jaws just simply dropped looking at Nyaruko doing something that gets our protagonist (Mahiro) touched. It was also nice how they got their candidates' roles just really "minor". Besides that, the story is still random as usual but it's getting better.
As for the characters, they are still quite okay but will there be more characters introduced and perhaps more candidates? In any way, I still don't mind with just those candidates. Though it would nice if the creators added more but to have second thoughts, the series could turn out to be a stereo typical harem anime if there are more "candidates". Well, it just depends on how a story gets directed anyway. Overall, the episode is great and romantic focused.
Oh, wow! There's another serious big plot coming up! So we get to see our main antagonist reveal herself but she's Yuuko's other self or simply, Shadow Yuuko. Anyway, the episode at the beginning already revealed Shadow Yuuko but there wasn't anything going on much. It was just the usual basic routine that Teiichi and Yuuko do everyday with their "peaceful moments" for most of the episode showing more about our heroine's details. But at the near end, we get some huge plot set up for the next episode with a shocking event on what Yuuko will do.
I just liked this episode and it became another actual "horror" episode. At the rate the series is going, it just might live up to its genre which is great news for horror fans that wants "horror". So far the creators are doing a nice job and this may not be just another typical echii anime as it would seem from the start. Overall, awesome build up and the story is getting better.
Girls and Panzer anime is coming soon on Fall season! Just imagine something similar to Uppote!! and perhaps Strike Witches but has World War II tanks involved instead. Anyway, here's the PV.
Okay, that was a nice snow episode, I guess. Anyway, we get to see out middle school heroines do random things. The nice thing about the episode is it builds the relationship between the students and the teacher (or sensei). We also get to learn how that the teacher is actually a pervert (and that was expected). The story so far doesn't really have any sort of connections because it's just a pure echii anime.
Other than that, the series is pretty much okay and I don't find anything that negative but it is getting closer to Hetalia and the girls still call themselves as "guns". I mentioned this before but another thing is that they actually called the teacher a "human" even though they are human themselves which is what I find kinda strange. Besides my point, I think there should be an explanation why these girls consider themselves as "guns". Are they just mentally crazy or something? So overall, the episode is decent and I'll be looking forward to the next.
Conclusion: A decent snow episode but there are some things I still don't quite understand.
The episode is so saddening and dark especially at the beginning when Irisviel got very weak. Anyway, Kiritsugu and Saber pretty much try to look for Rider and Archer for the entire episode. It's not just only that, there's a lot more shocking dark events in this episode and it's filling up for the next episode. Though I'm kinda displeased that on the previous episodes we saw are about Kiritsugu's past until we are finally back to the present and more random things happened. In any way, this series might just make it to the "horror genre" or (maybe it is already in the horror genre). Putting aside, the action is great but the story is getting darker on each episode. So overall, this episode is not too bad and could have been a lot darker.
